I Am America

Posted on 08 July 2010 by hearus

I am America is a new song from Krista Branch (video below).

Personally, it’s not the type of music I enjoy, it is however a message I enjoy.

There is a good chance you have already seen the video below or heard the song as it has gotten much attention very quickly since Glenn Beck played it on his radio show Wednesday.

iamerica

The leftist blogs, such as the Huffington Post absolutely hate the song. They hate it not only for the pro-liberty message, but also because Krista Branch is a Christian artist.

The Huffington Post references this line of the song;

I’ve got some news, we’re taking names

We’re waiting now for the judgment day

I believe that they are wrong in their assessment of the line, though I admit it could be that I am the one who is wrong.

But in context of the rest of the song, I believe Krista is referring to election day.

She may well be referring to both election day and the Christian understanding of Judgment Day.

Either way, the message is great and the fact that the leftist blogs are losing their minds over this song, is to me, a bonus.

Final Endorsements – The Colorado Five

Posted on 14 March 2010 by hearus

Hear Us Now! is proud to release our “Colorado Five” endorsements.

See the list below, feel free to download and distribute the pdf as well.

—————-

Hear Us Now! endorses candidates preparing to enter public service who embrace the 9 Principles and 12 Values adopted by the 9-12 Project, and who desire to restore our Constitutional Republic espoused by the Tea Party movement.

We strive to provide a voice to the constitutionally committed American citizens of Colorado who have shouted from atop our majestic mountains to the dominant political parties, the members of the Colorado Statehouse, and the resident officials in Washington who do not – or will not – hear us. They will Hear Us Now!

Hear Us Now! examined candidates from several races and selected those who demonstrated the strongest commitment to uncompromisingly uphold our Constitution of the Unites States and the State of Colorado’s.

These candidates recognize that the life of our Republic is at stake and they have expressed the courage to restore our State and Nation to their principled, solid-rock foundations.

With deep gratitude, Hear Us Now! is pleased to endorse the following candidates for their respective offices:

· Mr. Dan Maes – Governor of the State of Colorado – endorsement pdf

· Mr. Ken Buck – United States Senate – endorsement pdf

· Mr. Lang Sias – United States House of Representatives, CD-7 – endorsement pdf

· Mr. Kent Lambert – Colorado State Senate

· Mr. Mark Barrington – Colorado House of Representatives, HD-26.

Congressman Ed Perlmutter “Congress In Your Grocery Store”

Posted on 08 August 2009 by hearus

*Some photos will follow this potentially long posting*

*See The Complete Colorado write up and pictures*

*T.L. James of Peoples Press Collective was there. He has an entry up at PPC and will be adding to it as soon as he has finished uploading everything.*

Colorado’s district 7 Congressman, Ed Perlmutter held a “Congress In Your Grocery Store” event at a Brighton King Soopers grocery store.

I’d estimate 250 or 300 people joined Mr. Perlmutter this afternoon.

We had been hearing all this week about the “organization” of the “mob” and it was apparent the second I walked up on the crowd.

Apparent, but different from what Robert Gibbs, President Obama and the media had been telling me.

Black shirted Union members worked the crowd and were involved in attempting to intimidate vocal health care reform opponents. There mission was clear, get in the faces of vocal opponents and shout them down.

As I walked up on the crowd the first thing I heard was a small group of AARP membership singing, “We shall overcome”.

Their signs indicated that the insurance companies were oppressing them man!.

From the various signs, I learned several things.

Health care is an absolute human right.

Jesus would support a single payer system.

Ronald Reagan destroyed America and Global Warming needs to be stopped.

Republican candidate for Colorado district 7 Brian T Campbell Sr also attended.

He spent sometime speaking to both those who are pro government health care and those who were not. I noted that as people gathered around him he went out of his way to speak with the pro health care reform folks.

This event was nothing like the ones we have been seeing on the news.

It was a little heated from time to time to the point where you wondered if a scuffle would break out.

At one point one of the peaceful health care for everyone proponents, grabbed my arm when he didn’t like what I had to say, and gave it a good squeeze.

I pulled my arm free.

A quarter hour later I noticed dried blood on my arm where he had squeezed. I guess he used had used his fingernails. There is a picture of my vicious, crazy Lefty caused, wound at the end of this posting. It’s horrific!

I meet a man (I’m embarrassed to say I’ve forgotten your name) who had received an email yesterday from the Obama machine, Organizing for America.

It read:

I wanted to send you an urgent invitation to an important public meeting with Rep. Ed Perlmutter tomorrow (Saturday, August 8th).

He’ll be talking to constituents and gathering feedback – this is an ideal opportunity to make sure your support for health insurance reform is seen and heard at exactly the right time.

Our congressional representatives are back home this month, and they’re facing more and more pressure from special interests on health insurance reform.

It’s critical that we get out there and show them where we stand.

I hope you can join us.

What: Health Care Public Event with
Rep. Ed Perlmutter

Where: King Soopers
500 E. Bromley Lane
Brighton, CO 80601

When: Saturday, August 8th
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Our representatives are under attack by Washington insiders, insurance companies, and well-financed special interests who don’t go a day without spreading lies and stirring up fear.

We need to show that we’re sick and tired of it, and that we’re ready for real change, this year.

Please come to the public meeting, and make sure that the most powerful voices in this debate are those calling for real reform, not angrily clamoring for the status quo.

RSVP here:

Thanks,

Gabe

P.S. – Before the event, please print off a flyer to display and make sure that your support is visible.

I’d be interested in knowing how many on our side of the health care issue were sent there by insurance companies and other special interests.

Oh, wait I do know.

Zero.

How many on their side were sent from Organizing for America and the Unions?

90% would be a good estimation when taking into consideration the professionally made Obama placards, the groups of persons all wearing the same shirts and the fact that nearly all were holding up the very same signs.

Not to mention that often when questioned they had to go to freshly printed talking points sheets.

The Left are professional protesters, we are not.

SSA51315 Union thugette in the black shirt
Really? Stop Global Warming? I suppose if you believe in it, then it's a health care issue. SSA51324
Brian T. Campbell speaking to a government run health care supporter My vicious wound that I spoke of earlier! I thought I might die!

Brian T. Campbell Sr. of Hear Us Now had the opportunity to question of RNC Chairman Michael Steele at the recent Young Republican Convention in Indianapolis.

He asks Mr. Steele a direct question about the Tea Party movement. Brian’s question comes at the 4:50 mark of the video.
