Broomfield 9.12 was faced with a difficult challenge when their featured speaker for the upcoming September 13th We ARE The People Rally, Janine Turner, had to unexpectedly cancel due to a family situation.

They rose beautifully to face the challenge and secured Andrew Breitbart of breitbart.com and Big Government, as the keynote speaker.

Andrew Breitbart is a star of the new media and one of the largest thorns in the side of the Left and traditional media.

Others to speak are S.E. Cupp and Colorado’s own Jim Pfaff. Both of whom I understand were instrumental in the addition of Andrew Breitbart.

The Leadership Institute will be holding a Youth Leadership School October 9th – 10th.
There is no cost associated with the class.
While their website needs to be updated to reflect the fact that there is no cost, I have spoken with Meghan Swella and she has confirmed that the classes are indeed free.
Those of us who have children and are new to political involvement, have hopefully, over the now nearing two years, involved our children in some way.
At least in letting them know why we have become involved and the importance of individual involvement in defending the founding ideals of this nation.
I know a number of people who are involved in the pro-liberty movement as families.
It is important that our children understand the founding ideals of this nation and the founding documents of this nation.
Assuming we are successful in righting this vessel, it’ll take our children to keep the vessel up right and make sure it does not take on water.

I’m not suggesting you turn your children into activists.

I am suggesting that we educate our children and prepare them to step into roles of leadership, no matter if that role is within their own families, their neighborhoods, their city, state, or the nation.

This class in October, provided free of charge by the Leadership Institute can be useful for your children in preparing them to step into those roles of leadership when that opportunity arises.

The Leadership Institute is one of the premier conservative training organizations in the nation.

Just as many of us left a leadership void in our communities and our nation, if we do not prepare our children to be leaders, then another void will be left in the future and the Left will step into those voids just as they did when we left voids in leadership.

The Union has been hijacked, stolen, right from our very hands. We’ve allowed it to some degree.

Yet since February of 2009 we’ve been working hard and fighting hard to wrest the Union back from those who would “fundamentally” transform her.

This is likely to be the last large scale rally in the Denver metro area before the November 2nd elections.

Let us come together on September the 13th knowing the current goal line is within our reach.

Actress and Co-chair of Constituting America Janine Turner as well as conservative political commentator and author S.E. Cupp will both be speaking to the situation America now finds its self in and motivating us towards what we can do about it.

This is a long fight folks, we need motivation breaks such as this.

So let’s huddle up this one last time before November 2nd and when we break huddle, lets return to the work of reclaiming this nation.

R Block Party will hold it’s 2nd annual picnic today from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Washington Park Boathouse.

The boathouse is located at the north end of the park, E Exposition Ave & S Franklin St in Denver.

Don’t pretend you have something more important to do.

What could be more important than reclaiming our state?

It all starts at home, if we don’t reclaim the state then it makes it that much harder to reclaim the nation.

22 State House District candidates will be in attendance.

There will be auction items, some of which are:

• Broncos tickets
• One week in Hawaii
• 3 days and 2 nights in Crested Butte

There will also be a bake sale.

This IS a fund raiser.

While there is no charge to attend, please come and plan to participate in the auction, buy something from the bake sale or just write a check to a candidate who you support.
