Ken Salazar, Bill Ritter, Betsy Markey To Host A Clean Energy Economy Forum

On Thursday, August 27, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley will travel to Fort Collins, Colorado, where they will join Governor Bill Ritter and Congresswoman Betsy Markey in hosting a Clean Energy Economy Forum with a diverse group of local and regional stakeholders. Salazar and Sutley will continue to lay out President Obama’s vision for a comprehensive energy plan to jump-start the American clean energy sector and create millions of new jobs developing technologies that will cut pollution while producing alternative sources of energy.  The Administration and Colorado officials will also listen to and answer questions from stakeholders about local and regional energy issues. United States Senators Udall and Bennett will also be represented at the forum and will each convey a message to its attendees.

THIS EVENT IS INVITATION ONLY.
So please join the protest outside the building:
When: Thursday, August 27th, at 1:00 pm

Threaten them with their job, we should ALL be telling these men and women that we WILL work to have them defeated in the next election should they vote for the Waxman/Markey Climate Change and Energy bill.

If they feel that their positions of power may be lost come next election they will fold.
