Show Me The Bacon – The Nanny State

Posted on 07 July 2010 by hearus

The city of Los Angeles, they care a lot.

In fact, they care enough to protect the citizens of Los Angeles from the ‘potentially hazardous’.

Amid the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles, there exists another world, an underground world of illicit trade in—not drugs or sex—but bacon-wrapped hot dogs. Street vendors may sell you an illegal bacon dog, but hardly anyone will talk about it, for fear of being hassled, shut down or worse. Our camera caught it on tape. One minute bacon dogs are sold in plain view, the next minute cops have confiscated carts, and ordered the dogs dumped into the trash.

I lived in and around Los Angeles for years, trust me… hot dogs wrapped in bacon is the least potentially hazardous thing you will run into on an average day.

We are in the business of preventing people from getting sick, and we will do that.

Terrence Powell LA County Health Department.

Selling that bacon dog in LA could get you 45 days in jail and a hefty fine.

Come Meet Joe The Plumber

Posted on 06 November 2009 by hearus

In October of 2008 Joe Wurzelbacher (Joe the Plumber) spoke for all of us when he challenged then presidential candidate Barack Obama, "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?".

Mr. Obama answered; “[…] it’s not that I want to punish your success – I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you – that they’ve got a chance at success too.”.

If you didn’t know then, you know now that Barack Obama was speaking of wealth redistribution.

With that one question Joe unmasked Barack Obama and woke many Americans to the vision of a Barack Obama America. We are now seeing the fundamental change that Mr. Obama spoke of during his presidential campaign and Joe the plumber has been traveling America warning and motivating Americans to stand up and speak out in defense of this nation which he loves and you love.

On Friday November 13th and Saturday November 14th you can hear and meet Joe the plumber at a health care form and fund raiser for Brian Campbell’s effort to unseat CD 7’s liberal congressman Ed Perlmutter.

Unless we vote out the liberals from both parties and support constitutionally minded candidates with time, money and votes, then NOTHING in America will change. It is we who are responsible for the condition we currently find America in, it was our votes that brought these people to power and it can only be our votes which remove them.
